As a professional collage artist and art educator originally from San Francisco, my work has been featured in exhibitions, private collections, public art installations and festivals across the country and beyond. I am best known for creating large, intricate pet portraits made by hand from hundreds of tiny magazine squares.
In 2019, my work was chosen by Bloomsbury Press as cover art for a book of essays by James Baldwin, and I was commissioned by the city of Palo Alto to design an expansive 300-foot mural near Stanford University.Over the past several years I have taught these techniques to students of all ages and abilities, and have been thrilled to see an overwhelmingly positive response within the community. With my art courses, I am looking forward to sharing this fun and customizable collage process, and supporting the success and accomplishments of a wide audience of art enthusiasts.
